JUNE 2024

Yay for endings and beginnings :)

Rose finished 6th grade. It was a great year with so much growth and lots of fun!!

We got the camper ready for our first trip of the year. We tested her out with dinner

and a sleepover before taking her to a real camping spot

When we did take her camping the following weekend it was perfect!! The dog carrier we got for Lily (who had a sleepover at Nana's) was perfect for hauling wood

We went out on the bike trail both days

And the weather was cool and perfect for blankets by the fire!!

The next weekend we had a visit from some friends which included a sleepover with this smiley girl!!

After some sleep...we all headed for a fun day at Knoebels :)

There were lots of smiles and laughs, this crew will definitely be back again!

Rose spent a day at work with Justin, which included some rest breaks and lunch.

Rose also got to hang out with some cute pets at the job site.

AND during a pit stop they bought a lottery ticket and won, then reinvested, and won again!! Rose decided to take the winnings and run :)

Rose credits this lucky quarter with her winning!

Rose also helped Justin with some projects around home...who doesn't love digging in the dirt?

AND Rose did soccer camp for a week. This is a new interest for her and we're so glad she gave it a try!!

I also get lots of fun morning pictures of Justin taking Rose wherever she is headed for the day

And sometimes I get to send one back!!

may 2024

Here's to more time together and more time outside!!

Rose and Lily have been the bike riding duo while mom and dad pedal fast to keep up with those two!!

We also got to see one of the nests on our porch hatch
And Rose rescued a little guy out in the yard....we have baby birds everywhere!!

This month saw a lot of opportunities to enjoy and celebrate our Rosebud!
She had her spring concerns for orchestra

and band!! We love her interest in music and can't wait to see all she does :)

Rose also completed two years of tutoring for dyslexia at the Reading Dyslexia Center. We had an amazing instructor and will miss her, but are excited for all Rose has learned :)

And Rose received the Senator Judy Schwank Good Citizenship Award for her 6th grade class!

Rose took me out for Mother's Day

And we took Rose out for donuts

Some pictures I get when Justin takes Rose to school

And sometimes I can send one back :)

We made a trip to see our VA family

And the cuteness of these kiddos did not disappoint!!

Aunt Laura even trusted Justin and Rose to go get the pizzas in her convertible ;)
