June 2023: Welcome Summer :)

We started June off with a puppy and paddle boarding. We adventured to a new place for us, although it's probably about the closest lake and we had a great time! Especially when Lily decided to abandon ship and swim away...no worries, we got her back ;)

Rose also completed the 6th grade!! She has so many great memories from the year and learned a lot.

As a late birthday gift we headed to Great Wolf after school was out...Justin also locked us out of the Jeep for a few hours...

It didn't spoil our fun and Rose had a great birthday trip!

We also headed camping in June back to Little Buffalo which has these cool accessible ramps. Rose is a huge fan :)

The pool was a little chilly, but we got in anyway :)

Rose has been showing an interest in Chess and I found this cool learn to play version that she and Justin enjoyed during the trip.

This may be my favorite picture EVER. Rose played hard and slept well :)

It was also time for Rose to get some new glasses

And she made another fabulous dinner

Rose has also started trombone lessons, so our house is going to be filled with music this summer!

We've been spending a lot of time at the library for Rose to receive some tutoring for dyslexia. The library is having everyone put stickers onto this picture...any ideas?

We also had a visit from Regan!! Rose has been counting down the days and so looking forward to having her cousin visit. She tried aerial yoga with us.

We also took her to Knoebels. Regan had been once before as just a toddler, this time she went on all the big rides!

And we saw a movie with her because I needed a relaxing day after the busy day at Knoebels

The last weekend of June we had friends come to visit. We spent the day at the DaVinci Science Center

And went to the Kutztown Folk Festival (everyone's first time)

We packed in A LOT of fun with family and friends this month because I passed my nursing exam and now I have to get to work!!

May 2023

This is a waaaay late post because mom had a busy month and so we're just doing our best :)

Even though the post is late, doesn't mean May wasn't full of wonderful memories with our favorite kiddo!

Rose got back to aerial yoga now that she's free from foot braces.

And she started knitting again

I graduated :)

Then we celebrated with some family fun :)

Rose had lots of memories with this trampoline, but last summer wasn't on it much and this year said she was good with finding it a new happy home. It now has three cuties to love it and make new memories :)

We had the BEST quick trip to Delaware and Maryland! For Mother's Day I wanted to go to the beach and we decided to make it a weekend adventure. We ate a new brewery which is usually too packed during the summer, but we found close parking and got a table right away. ALL the food was really good!

We got to spend a little time on the beach before some rain came...

So then we traveled down to Assaeteague to explore a new area. It did not disappoint!! We had a couple rain drops to dodge, but overall was great and we all want to go back :)

We got to see the wild horses and a foal!

This time we stayed in a hotel which Rose loved.

This kiddo packs everything she might ever need plus a few extras ;)

Sunday was a much sunnier day so we headed to Cape Henlopen to enjoy the beach. We had a quick stop before the beach to pick up this pretty sweet chair for Rose :)

Rose loves her new chair and it gets her outside ;)

Rose had an orthodontists appointment so we had a lunch date!

This *might be* the last month this kiddo is shorter than me :(

Rose had two concerts one with the 5th grade and she got to perform a song with the high school orchestra.

Rose also is a favorite with her little cousins

This month we found this kitty in lots of cute positions this month

She's nicely balanced in this one

But this was our favorite :)

It was also time to downsize our chicken coup and make it moveable too! The ladies love it :)

We also decided not to plant the whole garden this year and just do some planters and this cardinal seems to approve :)
