Lots of Love

We had a LOVELY Valentine's Day ;) We don't usually do much on Valentine's Day, but this year I was feeling especially lovey dovey and so we went all out!

Leading up to V-Day I gave Rose hearts that said sweet things I love about her and we taped them to her bedroom door :)

I think Nana won for best present with this awesome sign she had made for Rose!

Justin said that I have never made him an Angel Food Cake for V-Day, until this year! Rose is such a good helper in the kitchen she cracked all the eggs and only had 1 piece of shell we needed to dig out!

We started V-Day with presents and cake for breakfast, because we can :)

I think we made one of the best meals we have ever had in our house: grilled steak with chive butter, root veggie mashed potatoes, and asparagus with onions and bacon in a balsamic and maple sauce.

We had some flowers and candles and enjoyed the time with the people we love!!

Kinda with Valentine's Day, Rose also had Grandparent's Day at preschool! She was one special little girl as all 4 grandparents were able to make it and have some fun!

As always Rose enjoys her trips to Shady Maple with daddy, I think in her 4 years of life (almost 5) she's been there more than me total ;)

She and I also make monthly stops at our favorite yogurt bar...usually for lunch!

And thanks to Pop, Rose now has her own mini fridge in her room in case she needs snacks and can't be bothered to go downstairs :)

Rose is also loving all her pets, really I can't imagine a house with no pets!

Rose even got a riding lesson in on a not too super cold day.

And the ladies are also doing super, especially when they get to play tag with Rose. Rose is also super excited because there will be new baby chicks in April as we add to our ladies and raise some for other friends :)

There was a little more snow to play in, Rose is hoping for some more snow before winter is over, just not another blizzard!

Mostly there was rain this month and that was fun too :)

Rose makes everything we do fun! I am so happy to see this little girl grow up and can't believe that we've already started planning her 5th birthday party!

Rose is learning how to build computers.

Meanwhile with mommy we just stick to giving babies a bath in the sink ;)

And if you stop at the mall be prepared to ride the escalators about 80 times and also throw all available pennies in the fountain :)

The girl loves to windex and Nana has the perfect window!

Mommy and Me Yoga with my favorite little yogi :)

Rose made it to a Shopkins trading event and scored great new Shopkins and some fries and milkshake ;)

AND we saved the most fun for the very end...
Sunday morning we surprised Rose with a trip to Great Wolf Lodge!
To say she loved it doesn't cover it. We all had a great time and our little dare devil did every slide she was tall enough for...multiple times :)
