All the Love :)

In our home we LOVE February (also known as 'let's make sure Rose knows how much she is loved, just in case she forgot for a 1/2 second'). If you ask Rose who loves her, she would name lots of people because she is very fortunate to have great people in her life. She would also name lots of people she loves, but at the top of her list would be her daddy :)

What's not to love? He takes her to Target...

Builds amazing Lego's...they now both have camper vans :)

AND bakes her favorite cookies with her!
Really this guy is a keeper and Rose and I have no plans to let him escape! MUHAHA

We also had our second annual Valentine's Day Party for Rose's grandparents, who definitely are very loved by Rose :)

Rose wanted slime making ingredients for her V-Day present and so slime it was :)

We also made Nana's famous rice crispy treats and added festive sprinkles for even more sweetness!

AND each morning leading up to V-Day, Rose woke to a new heart on her door sharing a reason that she is loved!

The rest of the month:
BIG NEWS: Rose really really has her first loose tooth! There have been some false alarms in the past, but this one is legit...and she is sooooo happy! We purchased a wooden box for Rose to decorate to leave for the tooth fairy.

Rose also {finally} reached her 100th Day of School...it was delayed several times due to snow!

Everything's better with some sweet treats from DD :)

We also were able to spend time with some of Rose's little cousins!

I'm not sure what these two are discussing, but it looks like they are best friends in the making!

SNOW! We finally had a decent snow...this year Lily has loved snow along with one of our chickens!

We did a little sledding at home to warm-up for sledding at Nana's house

Luckily we got to take this cousin sledding with us for even more fun!

Rose also enjoyed lots of Nana time this month

AND had her first sleepover in years at Nana and Pop's house...but I think this is a little staged...not sure how much sleeping really occurred.

But just so you don't think we're all normal...here's Rose posing with the arms she ripped off her doll!

January...snowy days and happy family time :)

Rose adjusted to going back to school only to have TONS of snow days! That's ok, though, we found lots of ways, inside and outside, to enjoy our 'bonus' vacation days :)

And of course, snow is the most fun, with all the girls!

This guy doesn't want to play in the snow...

This sweetie saved and saved her money until she had enough for her Big LOL Surprise! There were so many times I wanted to get it for her, but I am really proud of her for sticking with it and saving up!

Rose is also devouring the Junie B Jones series...I have to say I find them pretty enjoyable too, but I'm glad Rose doesn't try too many Junie pranks :)

Rose and I wore matching leggings from Nana, I'll have to add this book to our list to read!
Rose also tried out a new hair style for her gymnastics class, I'm not an awesome hair mom, but we're trying :)
Justin has also started tackling the stairway with his cute helper! except the helper is VERY messy :(

We enjoyed lots of fun together. Rose has become quite a roller skating pro and doesn't need a helper anymore, although daddy's hand is always reassuring :)

Cousin Luke came for a playdate, I think this is the only time I got these two to take a break!

We also found an indoor recreation park for mini golf, bowling, and an arcade to try out this month.

AND a new brewery for Justin! But I really like beer too and Rose loved the mac n' cheese :)

Another Sunday Funday we purchased a new set of Legos and had fun building them together!
We also went to Cabela's to see the BIG fish, but Rose fell in love with a cute little turtle hiding in the corner, can you find him? Also look at these two goofballs, this is how picture taking usually goes!
