This month was full of school and family fun!!
Since birthday's were right at the end of our spring break vacation, I didn't bake a birthday cake for these two, so we celebrated with a lemon blueberry Bundt the next weekend. Rose and Justin are still also patiently waiting for the new switch to be released which they decided to both request as their birthday present...so the celebration just keeps going!
Justin also made another appearance as school trip chaperone for Rose's 7th grade trip to Washington DC. It was a full day, but luckily they had nice coaches for the trip.
They saw some monuments while walking around.
And visited the natural history museum and air and space museum before it was time to drive back. Rose loved the trip and the time with her dad :)
Rose played in the orchestra and band for their spring concerts
And she was able to play with Chamber Orchestra at Music in the Parks at The Hotel Hershey.
After playing the kids went to Chocolate World and then Hershey Park.
Since we have annual park passes this year, we went along too for a date day!
Since Rose was with her school group, after we rode some rides we headed to Troegs, for a tour and food! Yay for parent time :)
Another fun school event was Rose getting to pie a teacher. They bought raffle tickets to support Four Diamonds and Rose's ticket was selected. Luckily this was her homeroom teacher and she was a really good sport about the pie :)
AND for the first time ever, making her school trip chaperone debut, was MOM!! Rose was able to go with the theater group to see Lion King on Broadway and mom went with to chaperone :)

Before getting to see the play. It was amazing and mom definitely wants to go back!
Our family also went on our first camping trip of the season. We returned to Tobyhanna State Park, but Rhonda (Red Jeep) made her hauling debut. She made it, so 'good job Rhonda'!
We saw a lot of wildlife including a beaver Rose saw on the lake

And a woodpecker who is out there somewhere ;)
Rose was also busy taking amazing photos
In other fun events. This cat gobbles down her food and then returns it. We got this cute little sign to make it a bit more fun when we find her piles :)
When she's not busy puking, Rose loves to cuddle with her cat, so that's cute.
Rose has also taken over the pole barn couch to hang out with her dad some evenings.
New shoes were selected
And mother's day was celebrated with ice cream :)
Some days Rose just needs a Wawa run
And some days the parents just need a beer run :)
This month Rose did not cooperate with a picture one morning for mom, so she sent a picture of dad...he's cute too :)
But there were lots of Rose pictures the rest of the month!!
