Spring is Here!!

March was full of fun, just getting us ready for all the awesomeness that awaits us in April as we get ready for some very special birthdays ;)

Rose was invited to a couple birthday party's to celebrate others birthdays this month and she was so happy to attend.

Rose went to Tessa's swimming party and told me about a dozen times how much fun she had!

Mommy was also a good sport and stayed in the pool the whole time!

Rose's favorite Nana had her birthday this month and Rose insisted on making her (as in Rose's favorite cake) for Nana :)

Rose was also in charge of picking out Nana's gift, Play-Do!

Rose also got to attend another birthday party for a preschool classmate.

AND Great Grandma Bechtel turned 90!!!

We enjoyed the beautiful weather and made lots of trips to local parks...

Played outside...

Look at the beautiful picture we drew together, right now mommy loves drawing more than Rose, but I'm slowly winning her over to the awesomeness that it chalk.

We also had a cute little visitor :)

Oh and the chicks are helping to build their own enclosure! I think the neighbors all know we are the crazy house with the chickens that keep escaping...but not anymore ;)

AND made a trip to Lehigh Valley Zoo :)

Rose also had some special events at preschool, including kite day! Rose is first in line because it was her day to be the 'special helper'! Rose loves loves loves getting to be the helper and does a terrific job :)

Rose was determined to fly her kite all by herself, and she did :)

Look how high we got it!!!

Easter Fun:
Making Great-Grandpma Bechtel's peanut butter eggs! Rose did a great job and was super helpful!

We also colored some eggs, we just bought white eggs from the store (shhhhhh, don't tell our chicks!).

Rose also participated in an egg hunt at her preschool

And at the local toy store where Rose also got a picture with the Easter Bunny!

Rose was super excited about Easter and went to bed the night before saying she couldn't wait until Easter...I guess not as she came to our room around 3am :(
Shortly after 7am we did get up and Rose  hunted down 30 eggs before opening her presents...all in a shirt and undies :)

She did manage to look super beautiful by the time we made it to Nana and Pop's where she was super excited for another egg hunt and more goodies :)

The chicks have arrived!!!!

Other fun times this month:

Rose dressed up in clothing that fits her 3ft baby doll, that top is a 6 month onesie, haha!

Farmer's Market!!

Rose called the spaghetti squash her baby and took necessary precautions to ensure it arrived home safely!

Rose is really a very healthy eater, but who can resist sprinkles?

Justin and I found this guy in our shower one night after Rose had gone to bed, she has such a great
sense of humor :)

We got our favorite server when we went out to eat at Red Robin.

We also had some cheese steaks and movie night :)

Found this little gem on my phone :)

Mommy-daughter time is the best!!
