June 2020

We made it!!! Rose (and her parents) successfully completed 2nd grade! This was an adventure and we will have some great memories to look back on, as a bonus mom and dad definitely learned some things we had forgotten :)

June was full of growth not just for Rose and us, but lots of things around our home! It's been a good reminder that things are always changing and enjoy the season you are in!

We enjoyed our second foster group of Sugar (momma) and her kittens: Hot Dog, Kit Kat, and Moo Cow. Our cute little kittens grew...

And grew...

(This was the sweetest momma cat ever...from one mom to another, we got each other!)

And then they were ready to find their furever homes! We will miss our fluffy second bunch of fosters!

Our sunflowers are growing. We never planted any last year, but this year we had the time, and that's a good thing :)

And growing...also say 'hello' to the cutest kiddo with glasses :) A new season for Rose is that she is now wearing glasses, just for reading.

We also had time to plant an amazing garden this year and Justin is a great weeder :)
New to our garden this year is a strawberry plant and some cucumbers. We have already gotten some yummy treats!

We were able to get out and go camping at our favorite spot! This was a real treat as our big trip in April was cancelled. It felt so good to be away for a few days and sticking our toes in the ocean.

And then we were able to go camping at another favorite spot and enjoyed our first bus camping trip.

And Rose enjoyed her first ever camping sleepover!

There have been some new experiences during this time and we have taken advantage of making some new memories such as a zoo drive-thru :)

Somethings were no different from another June including some hot weather!
This is no problem for Rose and anyway she can get wet is good for her!

June is usually dance recital month, but there was no dance recital this year. We did a little fashion show of Rose in her costumes just for fun!

From sassy

to sweet!

So we're ready for July and more memories and time together!
