We had to say good-bye to Q-tip and Cottonball, who were both adopted quickly to their forever homes :)
But we weren't without kittens for long:
This is Sugar and she has a matchy sister, Cinnamon.
Rose was ready to tackle rock climbing again...so we did!
Rose got some great encouragement from another climber and pushed herself to make it to the top of a new climb for her :)
For the 4th of July we celebrated with festive cookies
And fireworks :)
We took our first ever 'dads and daughters' roadtrip to visit our Virginia family
Rose was a great car tripper :)
Aunt Laura installed a pool heater and we were not sad about it!
We also got to play around with some equipment to move mulch and dig holes
The next weekend it was back to Cape Henlopen...for maybe our hottest camping weekend ever!
At least there was plenty of water to cool off
And cold drinks ;)
Rose wanted to go to the boardwalk and get a Henna tattoo
Of course, she chose a cat :)
We had a lot of lightening but no big storm, it made for a fun night sky.
After a hot weekend camping, we needed a cool treat!
I think this pictures says it all...
We got to make our own pint of ice cream, some were delicious and others 'creative'
We ended the month with a trip to Lake Nockamixon for their bike trail and then to enjoy the lake
Justin was navigating and accidently took the long loop then took a "shortcut" to get back
This girl ended up doing around 3 miles on a challenging trail and she rocked it!! Also I think she is ready for a larger bike....
All was forgiven once we got to cool off in the lake :)
Since the bike ride took so long we stopped for dinner on the way home
The cheesecake was a hit :)
When not being busy with kittens or fun activities, we got some projects done around home
