Pumkins and Bowling Balls

It was a great week! Really I can’t think of a thing that wasn’t lots of fun this week with Rose J

Rose and I attended her speech session on Tuesday and since it is right at lunch time, we swung by a fast food establishment…yup, sometimes we just need those yummy fries!

Wednesday Pop reactivated me as an employee of Bechtel Kitchens to take a template to his cabinet maker in Lancaster. I was a little hesitant to do this because Rose does not always love long car trips, but I explained that if we worked for Pop we would get paid and could go shopping…she was into that! So after making our delivery Rose chose a new pair of PJ’s, 2 new Berenstein Bear books, and ice cream.

Rose got a new baby doll thanks to Nana and Nana’s watching the TODAY Show about a week ago when they advertised a really good deal. I explained that she cannot get this baby all wet or covered in finger paint, but she still seems really excited to have her new baby…we’ll see how long it lasts in this condition ;)

(yup, that's the new baby in the trampoline...)

Rose was rained out of a riding lesson last week, but we were back at it this week and hopefully Rose will be in her first show of the season this Sunday!

Justin and I (well mostly me) are SUPER crazy about finding Rose’s toys and missing items each and every day. I am happy to report that we had several missing items for a couple days, you can guess how crazy that was driving me! I am happy to report that the missing items were finally located J

We also had ‘2 Party Saturday’ this weekend with Lena’s Pumpkin Party and Eric’s 4th Birthday Party. We weren’t sure how things were going to work out, since Rose would not be getting her afternoon nap, but we didn’t want to miss out on all the fun!

Although there had been some rain in the morning, by the time of the pumpkin party everything cleared up and it was a perfect fall morning for pumpkin picking. Rose really had a wonderful time and she loves her pumpkins.

We picked up daddy and then headed to a bowling birthday party for Eric. Rose could not WAIT to bowl and cannot wait to bowl again!

The rest of the weekend was pretty lazy since mommy is fighting a sinus infection, but Rose always turns anything into a fun experience including playing music for baby Bruce while Nana rocks him...

and INSISTING that we carve her pumpkin!

Monday we were pretty back to normal and had a busy morning with some free coffee and donuts and a trip to the park.
