Yummy, Chilly, and Silly

I think those three words sum up this last week pretty well...

Yummy

I did a great job cooking this week! So good, in fact, that I blew up our oven :) Well that is a bit dramatic...something's just off with the top of the two ovens and luckily my handyman is on it!

Here is Rose's dinner from Monday night, chicken fajitas with homemade tortillas and rice, this is one of our favorite meals

Now that you just saw how healthy we feed Rose...here is Rose devouring a donut :) Eating healthy is important. We really do try and make good decisions on what goes into our tummies, but we do like our treats every now and then too!

We make lots of healthy and yummy purchases at the farmer's market each week. Rose also enjoys her breakfast smoothie and pretzel.

And what week would be complete without baking...this week it was Brown Sugar Cupcakes. We had a fellowship meal at church and these worked perfect to take with us.

Rose finished off her week of yumminess with some homemade popcorn with some REAL butter on top :)

Chilly

Rose took this picture of her daddy taking out the weekly trash. Poor Justin had to chip the ice off the steps and then haul the trash can out...he said he was very cold :( Rose and I were fine from inside :)

After Rose's nap on Sunday, she woke up to some snow, fingers crossed we don't get anymore through the night! Since we really don't know if we'll be enjoying this stuff for much longer, we all got dressed and headed out for a little family fun.

And we didn't forget to fill up the bird's food, they get really hungry in all this cold weather!

Silly

My favorite part of every week is enjoying Rose. She is the best part of every day , I feel so grateful to have her.

We are starting to plan Rose's 3rd birthday and I was asking Rose how old she is going to be...she couldn't be bothered to sit up, but did show me 3 fingers :)

Oh and don't tell papa, when Justin was working on my oven he brought in his noncontact infrared thermometer and Rose hijacked it. Rose said she was looking for 'snakes'. When she found them she would pick them up and take them to their home which was either by the sliding glass door in our bedroom or under the popcorn maker. Where does the girl come up with this stuff?

Rose and I got to hold baby Adalynn this Sunday at church. Rose was very gentle and sweet.

She also insisted on sharing her stickers and placed them on Adalynn's blanket.
